Super Sunday
Beer, soda, chips, dips, nuts, heroes, buffalo wings. On their own, these items are delicacies typically divulged in on the rare occasion in separation. If you’ve ever walked into a room and saw a line-up of these delicious finger foods, chances are there is only one excuse for it – it’s Super Bowl time. Though it may sound silly at first, the Super Bowl is an American holiday, much like the Fourth of July and Veterans Day, save for the fact that it is not federally recognized. Every Super Bowl Sunday, football fans gather in front of flat screen TVs to gorge on snack food and bet their hard earned money on various pools. Like every other holiday throughout the year, Las Vegas is the place to be if you’re looking to get your party on while also catching the game.
No matter what building you enter into during Super Bowl Sunday, chances are you’ll be able to hear the booming commentary emanating from somewhere. If you decide to go the bar route, which is really the best way to watch the game without interruption, flat panel TVs scattered throughout the venue broadcast the same channel to ensure optimal viewing of the big game. At most Las Vegas bars, the Super Bowl isn’t just another game. Special events including betting pools and discounted drinks will help draw the crowd. If you’re looking for a great time, you’ll have no problems finding it inside the Rio at the restaurant / pub McFadden’s. In prior years, McFadden’s has been known to have one of the best Super Bowl events off the Las Vegas strip, and the future is only looking better. Another notable location to spend your next Super Bowl is O’Shea’s right off the Las Vegas Strip. The ideal location of being located right on Las Vegas Boulevard will ensure a heavy partying atmosphere.
If you’re looking for more of an “interactive” Super Bowl Sunday, than your attention needs to be turned to one of Sin City’s infamous strip clubs. Not only do strip clubs ease the pain of your team loosing, they easily add a little depth to any bets you may have going on. Rather than simply betting for money, have a wager between your friends that grants the pool winner a round of lap dances. What’s a better victory than having a voluptuous gal letting you get up close and personal to her finest assets. Strip clubs broadcast the game on all of their available TVs and the women never stop dancing, ensuring that you’ll be present for the best halftime show of the game.
If you’re in Las Vegas for the Super Bowl, there is little possibility that you won’t find some way to enjoy the game. From the close quartered bars (and really, during a big game like this you know the bars will be super packed) to the inviting sights of the strip clubs, you’d have to be trying to not have a good time for your next Super Bowl Sunday in Vegas.
